Haga Gård is an old farm with a big main house from the 18th century right outside of Norways capital Oslo. Haga Gård Mikrobryggeri takes up the old tradition of brewing beer at Norwegian farms. In the medieval ages it was illegal for a farmer to not brew beer. If a farmer should have forgotten about his beer brewing duties he'd in the first instance be fined the value of half a cow. On a second offense he'd might find himself exiled.
Haga Gård Mikrobryggeri produces seasonal craft beer in limited supply, working continually on inventing and re-inventing their beer recipes. Their main target group is young men in Norway with an interest for food and fine beer.
